In a plot twist worthy of the cinemas, Raghav and Vindhya had been narrowly missing each other for almost a decade in Hyderabad. Finally, fate threw them together at a wedding two years ago, where Raghav spotted her in the crowd and knew she was the one. She’d be back from her Morocco trip, he’d survive his exam, and they’d finally reunite in Boston—before jetting off to Chicago, their home base for the next two years.

When Vindhya landed an unexpected internship in Bangalore—a city she'd never explored—she was nervous, but Raghav was all in. He visited nearly every week, turning the summer into an adventure of late-night auto rides, food experiments, and soaking up Bangalore's beautiful weather. By fall, as she boarded her flight back, Raghav called her at the airport and said, “I know who I want to spend every summer with.”
